How It Began

A Home, a Workshop,
a Garden

It started quietly at home. We had always loved working with our hands — restoring a broken chair here, planting herbs in the garden there. One day we looked around and realised we had built something worth sharing.


Oja Aed (meaning "stream garden" in Estonian) is our family business — where woodworking and nature meet. Everything we do comes from our home in Kuressaare, made with the patience and care only family brings.

How We Got Here

The Beginning
First Workshop in the Garage

Weekend restoration projects grew into something we couldn't stop. The garage became a workshop.

Growing Season
The Garden Takes Shape

Planting seriously began — herbs, vegetables, flowers. Neighbours asked where they could get plants. A second branch of the business grew quietly in the soil.

First Sales
Sharing What We Made

Our first planter boxes and seedlings found homes. People loved knowing exactly who made what they were buying.

2024 — Today
Oja Aed Is Born

We gave our family business a name, a logo, and a home on the web. Now we share what we love — one handmade piece and one plant at a time.
